Tundra has maintained its impressive record of reaching the grand final at BLAST Slam events, with the latest installment being no different. This time, the team took to the battlefield with Remco "Crystallis" Arets assuming the carry position, marking a change from their previous events.
In the inaugural BLAST Slam, Tundra made it to the grand final led by Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, only to be defeated by BetBoom Team with a score of 1:3. Moving on to BLAST Slam #2, Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov took over as the team's carry, guiding them to a convincing 3:0 victory against Gaimin Gladiators in the championship match.
Nightfall joined Tundra following TI13 at the invitation of 33, contributing to some notable achievements before being replaced at the year's end. The decision for the change was cited as a "team decision," with implications later surfacing that certain members were not keen on playing alongside him. Despite this, with Dyrachyo in the carry role, the team has maintained a flawless record of grand final appearances, securing victories in two tournaments. However, Dyrachyo eventually became inactive, citing a lack of passion for competitive play.
BLAST Slam 3 is scheduled to take place from May 6 to 11 in Copenhagen, featuring a prize pool of $1 million. In the upcoming grand final, Tundra is set to clash against Falcons.
