Recently, retired CS:GO veteran Danylo 'Zeus' Teslenko shared his thoughts on the performances of two prominent stars in the competitive scene. According to Zeus, Nikola 'NiKo' Kovac seems to be outshining Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev at the moment, attributing the difference to s1mple's reported fatigue. This revelation was made during a casual conversation with Dosia on a livestream.
Having been teammates on NAVI for a period spanning from 2017 to 2019, Zeus and s1mple experienced considerable success in various tournaments. However, towards the end of Zeus's tenure as captain, the team's performance began to decline. Despite this setback, Zeus played a pivotal role in grooming Boombl4 to take on the role of in-game leader before eventually retiring in September 2019.
Meanwhile, s1mple decided to take a hiatus towards the end of 2023. Despite attempts to make a comeback with Falcons on two separate occasions, his stints were short-lived. s1mple mentioned that the high valuation of his buyout posed a challenge for most teams, making it difficult for him to secure a new team. Interestingly, Falcons had reportedly shown interest in acquiring him permanently after a loan spell from NAVI, but the deal fell through due to undisclosed reasons.
