T1 recently announced a major change in their League of Legends roster by parting ways with their top laner, Choi 'Zeus' Woo-je, whose contract came to an end. This decision followed their remarkable victory at the World Championship 2024, marking the end of an era for Zeus in T1.
The team wasted no time in securing a replacement and welcomed Choi 'Doran' Hyeon-jun from Hanwha Life Esports aboard. While the arrival of Doran brings new opportunities for T1, the rest of the roster remains stable with all members having contracts extending beyond the current season.
Zeus' legacy with T1 spans four successful seasons starting from late 2020. During his tenure, T1 achieved monumental milestones such as claiming the championship title at Worlds 2023-2024 and making it to the finals of both Worlds and MSI in 2022.
