Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev shared his thoughts on Team Falcons' elimination from the PW Shanghai Major 2024 RMR. He acknowledged the skill of their opponents and pointed out that they managed to outperform his team in the final map of the bo3 series.
For the first time since his entry into the elite CS scene with Team Liquid back in 2016, s1mple finds himself unable to secure a spot at a Major tournament. His absence from the previous event in Copenhagen was attributed to a much-needed break. Currently on loan to Falcons, there are talks of a possible permanent transfer post-Major, leading to a potential roster overhaul that could see NiKo joining the squad.
Following the defeat, Peter "Dupreeh" Rasmussen faces his second consecutive Major absence, despite having participated in every single tournament of the series prior, totaling 19 events. This puts him on par with karrigan and apEX, who have successfully secured their slots at Shanghai.
