Following his loan period expiration in December, Ukrainian CS2 superstar Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev made it clear that he has no intentions of joining Team Falcons despite earlier speculations. The news was shared by s1mple himself on the messaging app Telegram.
S1mple's stint with the team began at the start of October, during which Falcons competed in several tournaments, with the PW Shanghai Major 2024 RMR being one of them. Unfortunately, the team fell short in qualifying for the event, leading to s1mple missing out on the upcoming tournament. It's worth noting s1mple's knack for dispelling rumors more effectively compared to his counterparts in the professional scene.
Upon the revelation of s1mple's decision, esports journalist Richard Lewis hinted at a possible acquisition plan by the organization. The initial idea was to secure s1mple's services permanently by the year-end and construct a formidable roster centered around him and Nikola 'NiKo' Kovac.
At that juncture, no concrete agreements had been reached. If indeed s1mple's statement holds true, there could be various underlying factors influencing his choice not to transition to the new team. It's plausible that he wasn't satisfied with the organization's setup, or perhaps his current team, NAVI, was reluctant to negotiate a reduction in his buyout clause.
