Imperial Female CS2's Challenges with Tier-1 LAN Invitations in 2025

Viktoria 'Tory' Kazieva, a prominent player in the Imperial Female CS2 team, recently expressed her concerns regarding the team's invitations to tier-1 LAN events at the start of 2025. According to Tory, she feels that the invitations were not deserved through fair means. On the contrary, the team's leader emphasized the importance of seizing the opportunity to compete at the highest level, highlighting the dilemma faced by the squad.

Tory's comments on the matter were made public during an exclusive interview with Cyber.Sports.ru, shedding light on the internal discussions within the team.

Imperial Female CS2 found themselves on the receiving end of invitations to prestigious tournaments such as BLAST Bounty, IEM Katowice, and PGL Cluj-Napoca, secured through Valve's VRS system. Despite participating in six best-of-three series, the team failed to secure a single map victory. Their closest brush with success came in a thrilling overtime battle on Mirage against FURIA in Poland, painting a picture of the challenges faced by Imperial Female CS2 on the grand stage.
