Heroic CS2 Roster Undergoes Major Changes with Players Joining Team Falcons

Heroic has officially announced the departure of Abdul 'degster' Gasanov, Rene 'TeSeS' Madsen, and Damjan 'kyxsan' Stoilkovski from their CS2 roster. The news was confirmed by the team through their social media channels, finally putting an end to the swirling rumors.

After bidding farewell to the trio, Heroic has chosen not to disclose the identities of their replacements. Speculations within the esports community suggest that the organization is eyeing Alvaro 'SunPayus' Garcia and the talented trio from Sangal - LNZ, Yxngstxr, and xfl0ud.

Reports indicate that the transfer deal brought in a substantial amount, rumored to be at least $6 million, as Team Falcons were keen on solidifying a competitive roster for upcoming tournaments, notably VRS. Noteworthy is the fact that TeSeS has been an integral part of Heroic since 2020, while kyxsan and degster joined the roster in 2024. Their notable achievements in 2024 include securing the second spot at TWC and making it to the playoffs of the Shanghai Major.

Emil 'Magisk' Reif stands as the sole remaining player from the previous Falcons lineup, following the recent acquisition of Nikola 'NiKo' Kovac. The team's first challenge with the revamped lineup is set to be the qualifying rounds for BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, a virtual competition scheduled to take place from January 14 to 19.
