Filipe "Astini" Astini to Miss BLAST Slam #3 Due to Anticipated Parenthood

Parivision coach Filipe Astini, known as "Astini", will not be able to attend the upcoming BLAST Slam #3 event, as he and his wife await the arrival of their child. Stepping into his shoes during this period is Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka. Interestingly, Astini hinted at the possibility of a future partnership with the two-time TI champion, potentially exploring a role as their "mind coach."

JerAx boasts an impressive accolade of two Aegises acquired during his time with OG, from The International 8 and 9. Following his retirement in 2020, JerAx made a comeback towards the end of the subsequent year, before transitioning into a coaching role with Team Liquid. Spending six months in this capacity, JerAx parted ways with the team at the close of 2022. He then delved into individual coaching, concentrating on aspects of gameplay psychology such as consistency, performance enhancement, and managing emotional states.

BLAST Slam #3 is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen from May 6 to 11, hosting a LAN tournament. The event will see the participation of 10 top-tier teams vying for a significant portion of the million-dollar prize pool. Parivision's maiden match is against Aurora Gaming, kicking off at 11:00 CET.
