Falcons offlaner, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, recently transitioned to a new role by becoming the main drafter for the Dota 2 team. This decision came after ATF expressed his interest in trying out drafting during a previous event and was given the opportunity to lead the team in drafting strategies.
ATF's drafting journey began at PGL Wallachia S4, marking a significant change for the Falcons. Unfortunately, this tournament resulted in the team's worst finish in history, landing them in the 9th-11th place after being eliminated in the group stage by NAVI Junior.
The revelation about ATF's new role was made public during Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski's stream at BLAST Slam #3. Prior to the grand final at the tournament, Falcons showcased some improvements compared to their recent performances. However, with limited data due to playing only a few matches, including four bo1s and one bo3, the team faced a tough challenge against Tundra Esports in the grand final, eventually losing with a score of 1:3.
